Founded by Marshall Odeen of Ridgefield, CT he was born and raised in rural Memphis, TN and has spent his life perfecting the dark arts of the 'Q'.

From turning out plump baby back ribs on his battered Weber grill in the 90's to producing perfectly pulled pork on his trusty Green Egg, it was only a matter of time before he was persuaded by his many fans to graduate to the enormous commercial-grade smokers Odeen's use now and start spreading the message of Q!

In 2014 Marsh was joined by his expat buddy John Lloyd to help keep the fire smoking and bring Odeen's to more rapturous crowds. John has added his epic handcrafted sausages to the menu, alongside other more exotic treats like his crispy deep fried turkey and explosive Bacon bomb! Also in 2014, Odeen’s BBQ saw the addition of two new team members — Phil Del Giuduce and Gary Coles.

Marshall likes to refer to Phil as “our doctor of mixology — often helping to formulate and refine many of Odeen’s signature products”. Phil’s extensive knowledge of sauces along with many years of BBQ experience has helped to put Odeen’s solidly on the map in the northeast as a key BBQ contender.

Gary’s involvement with Odeen’s BBQ extends well past helping with food service and catering at events. His extensive marketing and graphic design background provided Odeen’ s BBQ with their visually and graphically branded identity as well as the development and maintenance of Odeen’s website.

Our Philosophy at Odeen's is to keep it real-

• To make everything from scratch - sauces, brine, finishing rubs, glazes, coleslaw that means everything!

• Using natural, unprocessed products - no MSG, no e-numbers, gluten free goodness! Fresh, unfrozen and high quality meats - nothing reheated and nothing pre-pulled! Served to you with a smile every time!

• We know how to avoid mediocre, sad and dry bbq . Using modern and up-to-date techniques of hot smoking and cutting edge equipment Odeen's know how to provide sublime bbq everytime. Alongside our professional and modern approach we provide a changing menu of seasonal and special items that appeals to the whole family.

• Odeens strives to provide a great value, hassle-free and above all tasty bbq service. We believe that the bbq experience is best enjoyed with (where possible!) family and friends, and we're proud and excited to be offering a convenient weekly "Heat & Eat" service where you can take a bit of Southern charm to enjoy at home.

Memphis-style means we put our special rub on the meat and let it rest before we smoke it. Up to 16 hours in the smoker (no shortcuts) and the freshly cooked meat is served along side our amazing home-made vinegar-based hot sauce.
